Re: Alberta Corridor Pusher - Oct.10th
This race is a definite for anyone wanting to do a Pusher Race in Portland. Geno has gone through a lot of work to get an arsenal of sponsors for this event. He has managed to secure over $200 dollars in cash prizes for the podium. Also there will be a boards, swag, and a number of gift certificates to local restaurants raffled off at the end of the race for all of the participants. There will be some downhill in the race, nothing to challenging. Encourage everyone you know who enjoys skateboarding to come out to this event.

If that was sarcasm keep it to yourself. Putting together a sanctioned race with sponsors and prizes is a time consuming project. Even if it is a lowly push race. We plan on being there.
Re: Alberta Corridor Pusher - Oct.10th
no it wasnt sarcasm, im stoked for it. it'll be my first race since i moved up to portland.

Ok, sorry I was snappy! I had just mediated a huge fight between my kids so I was a little crabby, sorry.
Re: Alberta Corridor Pusher - Oct.10th
Btw, does anyone know if the race starts at nine, or if registration starts at nine? Also, are start and stop at the same place, or do I have to drive over people trying to beat you guys to the finish like I always do for Annie Ross?
Alberta Corridor Push Event
Hey gang, this is the skinny on my event(Alberta Corridor Push Event)for 10 October- Please show up early so we can get all the particulars out of the way and start race at 9am. This way traffic wont be so much of an issue. On that note, i will be at the corner of 29th and NE Alberta between 7am-7:30am to meet any early comers, this is also the start and finish line for this event. There will be $300. to split between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pushers and a few things from within and out of the industry to raffle at the end. I will post the exact amount of each places payout and the map for the course 3 October on my site. http://www.momoinex.com

Re: Alberta Corridor Pusher - Oct.10th
Two push races in the same day!!!!
That is crazy exhausting. If you all don't know the LongboardLarry Night Race is the same day at night. The scheduling is kind of hectic but the larry pusher is HUGE! it is an annual event that larry has put on for several years and is going to be awesome!.

i plan to be at both
Hello all, incase you were wondering I conversed with many and checked race and event times on line and did not see any local conflicting events before i posted my pusher. Sorry if i missed someones event, but at any rate i plan to host my event as advertised and also attend Longboard Larry's. So i gues i will see you guys here and there or just there.
Re: Alberta Corridor Pusher - Oct.10th
Races are going to crop up or have their dates changed (Larry's was originally earlier in the month), so you just have to do what you did! I've just found out there is a push race in Corvallis the same day as well, kind of weird: http://67.139.161.195/contest_registration.asp?ContestID=446#signup
We'll be in Alberta 8:30ish. Would you like me to bring the 7gal water jug?

NEWS Flash
Hello all, I had hoped that the incredible "Robsky" would be at my Push event but the New York Broadway Bomb called him away. We wish Rob all the luck and know he will represent Portland well. This leaves 1st place and $150. in cash up for grabs! Not to mention $150. dollars to split between 2nd and 3rd($100 for 2nd & $50. for 3rd), plus nice raffle items after the event. So bring your "A" game and lets see who has what it takes. Please show up early for sign up- i will be there between 7am-7:30am on the corner of 29th and NE Alberta.....ANY VOLUNTEERS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED!

I don't think he'll be racing after all. I'll still get there with a water jug though cause I have other stuff to do on that side of town.
