Switchbacks Fastfest Shots
Got these shots right before my camera passed away.
All are cross-processed 35mm slide film.

Re: Switchbacks Fastfest Shots
I like the effect from that lense - fish eye? What happened to your camera?
Re: Switchbacks Fastfest Shots
Yeah my minolta met Goliath.
And because it was a minolta I think I may just turn it into a hood ornament. The guys at Knight Camera over here in the Couve said that the light meter inside needs to be replaced which is only like $12 for the part but $120 for labor. I asked him about the price of a medium format cameras he had in stock.
I took a picture of a heat and then went to cross and I think it was Mike?
the super tall guy hit me. I didn't look both ways before crossing
though. So it was pretty much my fault. I'll be upgrading soon. I just
need to become employed.
It's a fisheye lens yeah, which amazingly didn't get damaged. And also happened to be the most expensive part of my setup.
You'll see me with a crazy looking medium format soon at the next race, and I'll probably be a lot more careful, haha.

I may hit you (and Jon and Eric of course) up for advice when I upgrade cameras. I'm so tired of my daughter's little point and shoot.
Re: Switchbacks Fastfest Shots
Well if you want a film camera I could be of some help
But because of my ignorance to convert to digital I will be of little to no help.

No, I'm afraid I did film, and I can't go back again! It has it's pluses, but not being as artistic as others, I prefer the ease of digital. Thanks though.
Re: Switchbacks Fastfest Shots
hahaha, I was gonna say get closer if you are doing fisheye, but if you are running into riders maybe not. I like the concept on these shots.
Way to go!
