!!! My parents and my sister live about a 15 minute walk away from that hill!!!! I've gone to visit them couple times and have always been frustrated that I didn't have a board and gloves with me.

That's awesome to see that others know about it. As far as I remember, the pavement is great quality, at least for the second half of the race course, which I've walked on, and the views in general around that hill are pretty amazing.

I would highly recommend to whoever can get out there, to do it! You could also go visit Rocky Mtn. National Park which is close, or just head up into any of the national forests in Colorado and find a place to camp. The rockies in Colorado are easily one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

If I was going to be around, I would definitely be convincing some of you to take a road trip.
