The rogers bros. top-mount will be fine. As long as there is no wedging to the nose or the tail (like on an evo) you'll be able to ride it.

Re: Pdx Downhill Series #2
Nick, still haven't gotten an email from you. Technically an evo is a top-mount (because the board mounts on top of the trucks). Although, I wouldn't call it a conventional top-mount.
Ryan, my guess is that the blowup doll was filled with heavy doobies.

Re: Pdx Downhill Series #2
I know I know, its a "top" mount.. I just always think of it as a "drop" board. Heavy doobies?.. As in rolled special tobacco? haha
hmm okay Billy, I sent it to the pdxdownhill@gmail.com one, but I'll try again.

That was a sweet find, but what did it have to do with the next race? I'm confused.

I'm gonna ask this question for the many who have been wondering..
"Can I just topmount my dropthru board?"

I think as long as it's flat and doesn't have actual drop to it you can. Can't be sure until Billy gets back from Canada to answer that question though. If it's got drop to it and you don't have a top mount, flip it over and ride the graphic side top mounted.

Re: Pdx Downhill Series #2
the video has nothing to do with the race. i'm just posting old skate footage to get people thinking old school for this race.
nick, you can top-mount your dropboard.

Re: Pdx Downhill Series #2
okay cool, though I am still riding my rbros thats good for other people that wanted to do that (AIDIAN).
I'll be strutting an old 1970's half shell motorcycle helmet (the kind that covers your ears and stuff) thats covered in a metallic red, white and blue american flag paint job, snow goggles, zephyr skate team shirt, short shorts and some vans sk8 his.

Re: Pdx Downhill Series #2
Ok, so since daylight savings time is tomorrow morning (2am) we are going to lose one hour of sleep. I am going to shift the race back an hour until about 10ish. Try and show up around 9am and will will do some free riding until the majority of people are there (we've got a few out of towners coming down). The race will happen rain (snow) or shine.
