I think the idea of a non skater designing a board may bring some interesting ideas. How would a NASA engineer build a skateboard?


I like this comment, is this chaput in disguise?

"The problem with high speeds is not the friction on the ground, but air friction of the rider. The overall fastest downhill boards (although they are not legal in IGSA races) have six wheels for additional friction in the curves."
