2008 Maryhill Festival of Speed Article I found
Here's an article I somehow got a hold and scanned of what looks to be the equivelent of our Portland General Electric but in Klickitat County (where Maryhill is). Thought it was kind of interesting. Supposedly we "descend at more than 50 mph" ha ha...well yes, but not at Maryhill.

because I've always heard dirtsurfers being called inline boards...hmm, even by the guy at zoobomb that rides one.. weird.
maybe they're talking about the wierd ass standup DH boards that people ride with the roller blade on the front and regular skate truck on the back?

that's an OnShore Board and those aren't competing either...I think the person writing the article just goofed a little there.

wtf? hhaha, well.. I guess that's what you get when someone writes a story about us that isn't into the sport...
..it's just about as bad when you'll be cruising down the street and some yells "do a kickflip!" as you're riding a rocky bomber or dropkick or something. haha

yeah I know what a dirt surfer is, I've ridden one. They're not racing at maryhill...aka, they goofed up in the article. That's the only point I was trying to make.
