No advice on the venoms, but I mentioned that problem on the search feature a while ago to Casey. He couldn't replicate it, but I get the same error message.

Mikey we haven't heard from you in forever!

I have only heard they lose their initial grip pretty quick and then are really good slide wheels. I've haven't ridden them on my own board so I don't know. Try typing the search in manually?

There aren't any answers on PDXdh, I don't know anyone in Portland that's thoroughly tested the wheels out. I think Billy went through a set, but that's about it. You might try searching CoastLongboarding.com, they might have something. Zach doesn't race on his own wheels so that might say something, hahaha. The Venom Street Snakes look really sick for sliding though, judging from this video on SkateHouseMedia.com.

thanks casey, ya pretty much answered my question. and yeah, srry, i've been gone way too long... hehe
lotta new gear to check out tho, munkae trucks released (thought they were 'monkey' at the maryhill debut but s'pose ya gotta get creative), sayshun wheels/trucks (never even heard of em), actually a lot of new precision trucks that all seem pretty much the same... heh. oh well, more shit to waste my money on.
jus put in an order with dave for his rogers bros dh36, another heavy ass aluminum deck but looks like the concave is way better than my 3-piece or my dh40. should be fun.
i'll remember to try a manual search if i come across that problem again.
thanks n hope to get riding with you guys again soon
