The buckshot design was based off of the barrage shape. It has a triplane concave similar to the barrage, but with more flat in the center(5.5"). Another major difference is the upturned nose, wedged 5 degrees allowing for quicker maneuvering. It has a 31" wheel base, making it a super maneuverable board. If you really want to check it out, you should swing by the shop, you can jump on the deck yourself and see what you think.

The Buckshot is probably my favorite board in my quiver (possibly because I helped design it).
Jp did a very good job of describing it too (except I think it's a 32" wheelbase...). It is based on the Barrage shape but a few changes were made so that it better fits my style of riding. It's got very nice edges on the sides of the board that keep your feet locked-in but it still has enough flat space in the middle for it to be a stable platform at high speeds. Jp's got one at the shop and Scott can also make custom versions of the Buckshot that have triaxial fiberglass and uni-directional carbon fiber which makes the board lighter and stronger.

The buckshot is also has the same length, wheel base, and even the same 5 degree wedged nose as the Eastside dropboard...Is this a coincidence? I think not.
