Finished the STP... Empty Finished the STP...

I am dead tired right now, and a little delerious. Just thought I'd post up I finished the STP in two days in about 12.5 hours of total riding time over 203 miles by bike. Just one flat tire and I managed to bust my front derailer off at mile 30 the first day...ha ha. I was able to run into James Peters and Barefoot Ted in Centralia after we were done riding the first day (100 mile mark) and they were pretty beat with 30 more miles to go to Castle Rock. Part of the road, about a 15 mile stretch at least had a chip seal treatment on new since last year I can only imagine how much that would have sucked skating. It was challenging by bike and James and Ted are official badasses for finishing this thing...a lot more hills than I thought, especially for skating. Those guys are nuts. Congrats to both of them!

It was super fun but I don't think I need to repeat the ride for a few years...at least. ha ha. Stoked I get to focus on skating and put my bike away now! No more f'ing nasty balance bars and gross electrolite drinks.

Congratulations Hovey for making the whole ride. I would really like to do that next year if it works out. We missed you at Rock the Butte and the BIG ASS, but I am sure it was worth it. Now get some rest and get ready for Gibson and McNarley the 25th and 26th!!!
