Zoobomb Race 10/11!

So as a part of Freak Bike Fall, there will be a skate race Sunday night(October 11th). Cyclists will go down the road before the races and block it off to traffic (as best they can).

If you wanna participate then be at the top of the hill no later than 10:30pm. Also be ready to wait around. We won't go down the hill until the corkers are in place. Feel free to get some practice runs in early that night.

I'll try and put some kinda prize together for 1st and DFL. So be ready for prizes! Wahoo!

sick race last night! A bunch of us...around 10 to 15 skaters tried to make it down to legoland where we thought the awards and after party were gonna be but security showed up right as we were going through the gate. We weren't sure where to go so we kind of all took off so I'm sure that's why a lot of skaters were missing after the races. Who won the hellway race? Jon looked like he had a good chance off the start.

The cops were very plentiful last night. The plan was to meet at Legoland but that got changed to the S(k)anctuary once people realized that the police were out and about. I didn't have many awards for the skate race except a $25 Rip City gift certificate for DFL and a crappy knick-knack that I got from Walgreens for 1st place.

You guys are going to have to help me out with the other placings. I had to go straight to the max so I could make it up to the top of the hill for the Freak Bike race so I don't remember who came across the finish when...
I do remember that Ryan almost passed me then bit it into a curb on the right turn before the 10-mph-corner. We had to pull a few sketchy passes on people who were leisurely riding their bikes down the hill but not collisions.
Glad nobody got too f'ed up and glad that we had a good turn out for the 2nd annual Freak-Bike-Fall Skate Race!

Jon did win the Hellway race. He managed to draft and pass the g-bike in the last 100 yards and won by about 2 feet. It was very close.

I was right behind Adian thats all i know.

Hell yeah! Stoked Jon hung in for the win! I heard he was to receive a bottle of vodka?!
