At first I though 80 bucks was nuts, but now I see this hill is nuts and what better way for me to skate it than with bails and the entire road closed off!

Why to go everyone!!! Especially you Judy! It is not an easy task to get a city to respond to us dirtbag skaters!

Lets keep it local and grassroots, there is no need to get IGSA involved, they do not offer anything that benefits the clinic, the locals or anything else for that matter.

I am planning on being there both days and if you need any help let me know.

It's close enough you could day trip it both days, but you'd be getting up early and missing out on camping on site. They are planning on setting us up at the marina in town, showers and picnic benches, walking distance to town. Short answer is about 90 minutes.

Thanks Deano, and I will be calling you soon on the insurance questions. Sounds like we are all in agreement on the IGSA issue, and we missed the announcement on FOS anyway.

Within skating distance can be a few miles, within walking distance is 7 and a half feet, which is how close you are to everything.

For those wanting to camp at the marina, I have reserved space. They assure me they have plenty of room for us. Be sure to let them know you are with the longboarders and what you may need (RV hookup for ex, I highly recommend the cabins but theres only about 5 of them).

This is the wrong thread for the Tri Cities race. With that said the word is that the city pulled its support.
