stolen board

Post  boarder's mom on Wed Sep 16, 2009 3:27 pm

From FB: Sublimity Snow & Skateboards - Hey Guys,We just had an insect lightning bug fiberglass deck stolen off our wall. These decks are very rare, and as such very few people have them. If you see someone with one, or you know who took it, please let us know. All info will remain confide...ntial. If we can get the deck returned we will give you a reward. Thanks for your help.

Damn. Also keep your eyes out for Zak Maytum's board, someone jacked it from Maryhill. I don't think anyone in Portland has his pro model so if you see it and it has fancy trucks it's probably his.

Longboarders aren't suppose to steal stuff! And especially not from other longboarders!

I see the ad too. It is very obvious that it is the stolen one since they and switched to the nanotech a while ago and the fiberglass versions are hard to come by brand new.

I shot them an email about it.

Edit: I see another ad form the person selling a dropthough evo that ironicly has sublimity stickers on it.

Yeah she checked it out and said that's the board and that's the kid that stole it. However they didn't file a police report when it went missing, so the cops won't do anything since she has no way to prove it's her's (name or id# engraved in the deck for instance). It's a shame, but the best she can do now is ban the kid from her store.

The kids name is Ethan (I have a last as well), and his accomplice is Tyler, and they live in Beaverton. So if anyone knows them, see if you can get them to do the right thing.

reminds me of a post I saw awhile back of a landyachtz complete going for $25. I thought that it was obvious it was stolen because they couldn't Identify it and it was way under priced.

Good news, one of Stephanie's customer's mother works for washington county police and she shamed the Beaverton police into doing something. Long story short, they got the board back, and the kid (19, but still) has been arrested for grand larceny and probation violation for an earlier drug dealing arrest. So that's a felony, and not being a minor anymore, should screw his future up good and royal. Thanks everyone for keeping an eye out for it.
